Strategy

The NHPC Strategic Plan is the next step to develop our work and it has benefited from the learning we have gained during our first years of operation and our workplans of 2022-23. It presents a road map for the next five years 2024-2028.

The strategic Plan summarises what we are aiming to achieve over a five-year period, and why; It commits us to the steps need to build an effective national regulator for the health professions, educational institutions, and health facilities. The strategic plan complementing by an implementation plan setting out how we are going to achieve these aims and fund this work.

The NHPC Strategic Plan will be kept under review and may be revised if there are significant changes to the environment within which we work. Performance against the plan will be monitored by the Council, the NHCP Secretariat and the Ministry of Health. A mid-term review will be carried out, to ensure the continued appropriateness of the Strategic Plan and targets and budgets will be revised if necessary.
