Continuing Professional Development

All registered health practitioners are required to update their skills and knowledge through continuous professional development (CPD) programs and provide proof of participation. These programs can include a variety of activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, book publications and short courses. Each activity has an associated score that will be determined at a later date. For health professionals to apply for a renewal, they must attain a certain score by the end of each year.

Article 34, section 5b of NHPC Act (Lr. 31). contains the regulations around Continuing professional development.
