The purpose of the NHPC’s complaint management and discipline policies is to uphold standards of professionalism, ethics, and quality of care within the healthcare sector by providing a transparent and accountable process for handling complaints and enforcing disciplinary actions when necessary.
NHPC enacts a complaints management and discipline regulation that establishes standards and requirements for receiving and managing complaints about registered health professionals, and for dealing with disciplinary matters (conduct, performance, ill-health) relating to registered health professionals.
